How to start yoga at home: a 7-day plan
No flexibility, no equipment, no prior experience. Just you, a mat and 15 minutes a day.
Day 1 starts at 15 minutes
Too many guides start with fear. Ours starts with a mat, a corner and one easy class. Consistency beats intensity every single time.
Days 1-2: just show up
One 15-minute Hatha Flow class. Wear anything. The only rule is matching your breath.
Days 3-4: add five minutes
Stick to the class, then add 10 breaths of mountain or cat-cow at the end. Notice how your shoulders drop.
Days 5-7: pick a track
Choose your goal — weight-loss, stress or flexibility — and join that program. Your teacher keeps an eye on your form.
Week 2 onward
Same time daily beats longer on weekends. A habit is a meeting with yourself you never cancel.
